Essential, affordable, and effective water management.
With local water rates increasing at rates of up to 10% per year, water submetering is an essential element of effective water management. It has become the only cost-effective way to offset increasing costs of water delivery and consumption in multi-residential and commercial buildings.
What is water metering?
Water submetering allows for the measurement of water used in individual units. Property managers can then identify and compare the usage of individual residents and charge for water based on their actual usage.
What are the benefits?
- Increased Building Value
- Decreased Operating Costs
- Billing Accuracy
- Individual Billing
- LEED Certification Credits
- ‘User-Pay’ System
How does it work?
Water meters are verified and installed at the unit shut off valve. Once they are activated, the meters are remotely read and usage data is collected for billing purposes, detecting leaks, and collecting consumption data for each unit.
Priority then produces and sends accurate invoices to the residents and tenants.
