Earth Day 2021

It’s Earth Day today! Marking the 51st anniversary, this day is focused on demonstrating support for environmental protection on an on-going basis. This world-wide event has been celebrated every April 22nd since its inception in 1970.

Earthday.org has a mission; diversify, educate, and activate the environmental movement worldwide. This year’s theme is “Restore the Earth”. While the on-going COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we celebrate in 2021, it has also helped us remember the power of digital media, as we are now connected more than ever.

In order to Restore Our Earth, climate change solutions must center and benefit those most disproportionately impacted by environmental degradation and climate change.

Earthday.org will have its second Earth Day Live digital event at Earthday.org. The global show begins at 12 PM Eastern Time. Check out the virtual event yourself if you’re interested in learning about Climate and environmental literacy, Climate restoration technologies, Reforestation efforts, Regenerative agriculture, Equity and environmental justice, Citizen science, Cleanups, and more! Workshops, panel discussions, and special performances will focus on Restore Our Earth™ — covering natural processes, emerging green technologies, and innovative thinking that can restore the world’s ecosystems.

The multilingual virtual summit will span several time zones and feature prominent activists from every continent, focused on the crucial role that educators play in combating climate change and why we need transformative climate education now.

Submetering is one of the many ways we can begin to reduce water and electricity consumption, and environmental impact. Whether you’re already environmentally conscious or just beginning, a pay-for-use system is a great way to measure and assess usage and to see areas for increased energy efficiency and reduced consumption.

You can contact a Priority Submetering Solutions sales team member to find out more about usage reductions and the potential savings of installing a submetering system in your building by emailing [email protected] or calling 1.866.836.3837 x2.

No matter who you are or where you’re located, you can make a difference to this beautiful planet we call home. Together we can save the Earth. For more information about Earth Day visit: https://www.earthday.org/
